Autumn Craft Subscription box

At the beginning of June on Instagram, I saw and fell in love with an woodland theme subscription box by Autumn Crafts ..

I fell in love with it that much so I knew I wanted a box. So I contacted Rachel at Autumn Crafts to see if she had any of the box's left. Which she did, I was happy as you could guess. (If you know me, you will know I love all things woodland from the animals to the plants.)

I paid for an one off box at £17.50. The box from Autumn Crafts is normally part of a  monthly subscription box. A different theme each month.

There was a small delay for the box to arrived.  I do understand why and do really hope everyone is well in the Autumn Crafts household by now.

So what is so special about the box -  I hear you say?

Well this is what came in the box.

Picture below is of the beautiful paper and ribbon the parcel inside the box was wrapped in.. By the way this is once I had unwrapped the parcel. I'm saving this for projects and I think a scrapbook layout.

First item is these five thin washi tapes.
I don't owned any of these colours or thin ones.

Next item is these Beautiful card and toppers by hunkydory

Next item is an  owl notecard with envelope. I think I'm going to use this in my planner.

After that the next items are these beautiful woodland animal pictures. I'll put an individual look picture below.

Following those is this small colouring book.
This one I have been looking at the full size to get..
Maybe I won't have to now.

Then some stickers

Then this sweet bookmark

Next items are a fox pen and some owl paperclips

I believe these are called planner squares, They are sticky! I have seen people on YouTube use them in the happy planner or the Erin Condren planner.

I'm not sure I will use them for my planner I think I may have a few ideas for these..

Washi tape samples, I love these super cute tapes

How cute is the fox  bookmark?

This adorable pencil tin with pencils and rule..

Last item in the box (picture below) was an extra. A little somethink to say sorry for the delay.

Time will tell how I use the goodies inside this box.

A small haul

Today I needed to pop into my local Poundland shop.
To pick up some card blanks and envelopes, as they work out cheaper than the shop I normally go to.

While I was in there I also got a few other bits..

First three items are washi tape, and if I don't have enough already!

PVA glue this is one thing I needed, and the mini pegs will come in handy..

Last but not least the main reason I went in, was to these - I got two packs...

My reason is I have enough embellishments but I have ran out of card blanks. Plus I've started today making Christmas cards...

Please let me know what you think?

Mini Memory Book

It's been a while since I have sat down and made a memory book... So while I'm off this week I knew I just needed to make one, to keep those skills alive.

All the materials I have used have been free from magazine's, so I may not be able to list them....

The paper and the embellishments I used was from 'Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine'.

The blue ribbon I used was from a magazine I got a while ago, and the same for Kraft card.

This is how my mini memory book turn out.

The size is 4inchs by 3inches so really mini....

This is what it looks like inside..

The washi tape I used in this project I got a few months ago. While shopping in lidls, which is a one off thing for me..

Please let me know what you think?

First Quarter

Wow can you believe it is already that time
of the year again - The First Quarter...

January and February was just mainly Birthday's.
Pictures below sorry I couldn't get them to go in order..

Januray - Made this especially for a friends
son who is a Formula One fan.

Januray - These came as a kit with a magazine
I bought a while back. So one afternoon after work
I sat down with a cuppa and made these up!

January - Made especially for my brothers Birthday. Who is also a formula one fan as much as a minion fan!

January -- Made especially for friends daughter, who loves animals.. I thought she might like the girly colours and owls.. Which she did!!

March -- I made this one especially for my Great-Aunt's Birthday.. She makes beautiful patchwork quilts..

February - Found this one out from my stash of my cards I made last year.. I sent this to a friend of my family.

March --  Found this one out also from my stash for a close friend of the family...

March -- Right at the beginning of March was another friend of the family birthday. So in February I made this one especially for him. I used neutral colours and a nature feel to the card. The guy I made this for loves the outdoors....

The card above I made for a penpal in February I was writing too!

Please feel free to leave a message....

Notebook

I'm not sure if I posted any photo's of the Art Deco photobook I had a go at making.  After being inspired by watching a few vids on YouTube.

inside look..

Pretty rubbish I personally think. I nearly put the photobook on the pile for recycling! Then one night I wrote up suddenly with and idea going around in my head!

By the way am I the only crafter/artist that suffer with this? I have to keep a notebook and a pen by my bed.

Anyway. . . . My idea was to upcycle (can I call it that?) and make it into notebook holder thingie. .

This is what I came up with. .

I kepted the front pages, just removed the top and bottom also the inside flaps.

You can also see a close up look on my YouTube channel!

A serious crafting aim!

So about this time last year I wrote about, how I needed to use up what I have craft wise!  Well I am ashamed to say I failed - big time. Instead I added to it. With my Birthday haul from hobbycraft.. Which you can read about , birthday-haul .

Plus a small haul from hobbycraft just before Christmas, which didn't go to plan. My order went missing between hobbycraft and being delivered to me.

So after a few phone calls to hobbycraft, I got my  order resent out!

This is what I ordered!

So the first item is this
' DecoArt - Media - Modeling Paste'. This will be my first time using this, stuff. I do a lot of art/mix media journalling and I have been looking for some new things to try..

The next item I got is the
'Tattered Lace - Eiffel Tower'. I have been eyeing up this up for a while now..

While ordering the 'Eiffel Tower' I saw this lovely die ' D655 Panorama Grass' and thought they might look good together!

Then I saw these cute pockets. I will say I thought these were fabric like what I've seen on YouTube vids from America instead they are
paper. Oh well they will do for now!

I have a little confession to make, there is one other thing I have ordered. That is the Pebble Company - Garden Party 6x6 paper pad!  I will post pictures of the paper pad on Instagram when it comes..

So once again this year coming my aim is to use up as much as I can from papercraft to yarn (knitting)!

Follow my journey throughout the year either on here or on twitter, Instagram, YouTube and facebook..
