New Sizzix Charity Dies

A few weeks ago I had a email from Sizzix, to say about they have new releases on their website.. 

I fought with myself to not have a look, and then I got a email about the new charity dies #donatetomake..

Oh my days I could not resist them. I have been also trying to organise a lockdown swap with a group of crafty friends. Another good reason to order them. Right?

So last week I ordered the two special charity dies and on Tuesday they arrived.. 

Also what comes they them is a Thank you card, I somehow received two of them. 

This is what the Thank you card says. 

So here in the UK the Sizzix charity dies are £10 each. £6 from the sale of each of the two dies will be spilt equally between two charities and they are, Action Against Hunger and  Trussell Trust . I'm thinking each country may have different charity's. I please don't hold me to it either. 

I will be sharing what I do with these dies very soon. Please watch this space.

Hello Everyone!

So sorry I have not posted anything in the last 12 months.

My ipad died in September of last year 2019 and my phone was slowly packing up also. 

I now still do not have a new ipad or laptop... But I do have a new phone, so hopefully I will be posting as and when. I need to get my blogging  mojo back. 

Xbox One Controller Birthday Card and others

In January there was a five birthday's and three of them were male. The first one was on the 8th, he loves video games - I knew he has a Xbox One. I decided to make him the card above. I did not use a die for the controller, instead I drawer and hand cut all the parts of the Xbox controller....

By the way there is a theme going on...

The day after was the next birthday and I totally missed it... I hope he can forgive me?

Next two birthdays was around the 11th and the 15th the first one was for a neighbour and the second one was for a friends teenage daughter. Both cards are below

Last but not lease my brother. He is also a gamer, loves video games, loves his Xbox One and he also loves travelling too. I just knew I had to make him a travel theme controller.

He also loves our dog. We have a Welsh Cardigan Corgi so I could not resist to put a corgi on the card too.


After that I had a few days free - well I thought I did. Then I learnt a friend was leaving were I work.   I just knew could not let him go without giving him a Good Luck card, could I now.  I was thinking black cat (because to me black cats are lucky) and clover's / shamrock. This is what I came up with.

I think it is nearly the same concept of card I did my brother a while back.. Oops, oh well I like it tho, I hope he does too.

First of all I like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Secondly I would like to say sorry for the lack of post last year. It was partly to do with a family situation, and also the fact I had trouble with the tablet I use to write this on...

New Friend

Hello all -  I'm still alive.....

If you are wondering where I have been. Well the answer is, I had trouble with my newish iPad (He was new to me anyhow ). I learnt I could write posts easy on the iPad. But couldn't upload photos, maybe my brother new of a way but didn't want to share and I couldn't go back to my old nexus7 as it was slowly dying. (Its still dying)


Until the other day when my Godmother said I could have her kindle fire.  Has she was upgrading to the latest version.  At first I was a little unsure about it, as I always thought the kindle is just for books. How wrong am I?


Today my Godmother pop around for coffee and a chat with my mum, she also dropped off the kindle.


I've decided from now on this is what I will be using from now on to blog...

Small Easter Haul

Today I decided to go into town do a bit of retail therapy. I roughly knew what I wanted to get, some foam and cardstock, plus some other bits too..

Before you start to wonder where I am going to put it all too. I honestly can say I have projects for most of this. Yes there is one or two things I'm not sure about what I'm going to do with. But I do know I will find projects at some point to use them up.

So this is what I got!

The first shop I stopped off at was The Works.

The paper grass I got for an Easter project and the foam eggs are actually for a Mother's Day project

The next shop i went to was Poundland. Only got a few bits.

Next and last stop before home was wilkos.

In the coming weeks I'll hopefully be using up what I got, and if I do I will be using the tag 'easter haul - 2017...
